Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines


Operation Blessing Philippines (OB-Phil) together with Philippine-American Association of Connecticut (PAAC) and Capitol University Medical Center (CUMC) joined forces and build a medical intervention named " Tulong sa Kapwa 2013 Surgical Mission". Tulong sa Kapwa is a major surgical mission and medical assistance intervention given to the less fortunate and helpless folks of city. The surgical mission take place at Capitol University Medical Center one of the most highly and state of the art hospital in the city. It is a 3 day Medical Mission starts from March 18 to March 20, 2012.

A team of 22 medical professional doctors and nurses from various fields such as anaesthesiolosists, electrophysiologist, pediatric opthalmologist,cardiac surgeon, OB/GYN, orthopedic surgeon. All of them are registered and license doctors and nurses. They operate expensive medical operation such open-heart surgeries, pacemaker insertion, orthopedic and gynaecologic procedures and pediatric and adult strabismus repair, all medical operation are free to patients who cant afford to this kind of operation.

This is one of the first major medical mission event ever conducted by PAAC in northern mindanao in partnership with Operation Blessing and CUMC. Its impact to the community is really astonishing, most specially to our local folks who are less fortunate who cant afford to avail such operation like this and those people who live in the rural areas as well are their priority in this medical mission.
